hw-Marinemix Reefer is a high grade synthetic sea salt developed for reef aquariums and coral propagation, made in Germany by Wiegandt GmbH for over 50 years. It dissolves fast and clean, with no unnecessary additives, and carries the minerals, trace elements, amino acids and biocatalysts corals use to grow.
Mixing: 150 g (about half a cup) of salt per gallon of RO/DI water reaches 35 ppt. Mix until clear and check salinity before use. Mixed water keeps 4 to 6 weeks.
Target parameters at 35 ppt (approx.): calcium 450 ppm, alkalinity 9 dKH, magnesium 1380 ppm.
